Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 7.30 – 9.45pm. There is also a rehearsal on the Sunday afternoon of the weekend preceding each of our concerts, and on the day of the concert itself.

Thursday 12th - Sectionals

19:30-20:45

Violins (Kitty) (in the main hall)

Violas (Robert) (in one of the classrooms next to the St Cecelia hall in the music block)

Cellos (Clare) (in one of the classrooms next to the St Cecelia hall in hte music block)

Basses rehearse together (in the foyer area next to the main hall)

Woodwind (Fraser) (in the St Cecelia hall)

Brass (Cathal) (in one of the classrooms next to the St Cecelia hall in the music block)

 

21:00-21:45

Strings (Cathal) (in the main hall)

Wind & Brass (Fraser) (in the St Cecelia hall)

 

The wind will focus primarily on the Rautavaara and Prokofiev. 

 

The strings will mostly concentrate on the Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky.
