Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 7.30 – 9.45pm. There is also a rehearsal on the Sunday afternoon of the weekend preceding each of our concerts, and on the day of the concert itself.

Saturday 18th July - Concert Day

Venue:

All Saints' Church, Downshire Square, Brownlow Road, Reading, RG1 6NP

 

Parking:

We can park in the church hall car park opposite the church. There is also free, on-street parking in the roads immediately around the church.

 

Rehearsal, 14:15-17:15:

14:15: Haydn (in order)

15:30: Break

15:45: Mendelssohn (in order)

 

18:45-19:00: Special trombone rehearsal

 

We can get into the church from 12:30 tomorrow, and we will need to carry the chairs across from the church hall. Please could we ask for volunteers to help with this.

 

Concert:

The concert will start at 19:30, and the order will be:

19:30: Mendelssohn

20:10: Interval

20:30: Haydn

 

Concert dress:

All black. Short sleeves are fine.

 

Stand:

Please bring one, along with a stand light if you have one as it can get quite dark in the church.
