Reading Symphony Orchestra is Reading's premier amateur
orchestra in Berkshire, led by a professional conductor
and leader.

We present four main concerts a year, and are often engaged
to work in collaboration with other musical organisations and for private functions.

The Hickies/RSO Young Musicians’ Competition 2008 was won by flautist George Palmer of Henley College. Winner of the Joy Day Cup for most promising performance was Phillippa Scammell.
